Beautiful Vera was truly an extra ordinary hound in every aspect. She was imported from the famous Pharaoh Hound kennel Siphra's in Finland and came to Sweden at the age of eight months in 1999. All ready her first year out young Vera made her mark in the rings and became Top Winning PH in Sweden. As she did in the year of 2000 too.

Besides her many great wins in the show rings Vera proved to really be something extra as a brood bitch too producing some truly magnificent Pharaoh Hounds, with multiple champion and KC group winning off springs. Out of her 21 progeny elligable to compete for their titles, 17 are show champions. Vera always brought her magnetic charisma with her into the ring every time and this is something she has passed on to many of her kids and grand kids. Faouziah's would not be what it is withour her mark in out breeding. Her importance to us as brood has been huge.

But most of all Vera was always our beloved family member. The last years of her life she lived an laid back and easy life style as a pampered pet at our home with her favourite place in the master bed. She was a beautiful and sweet hound and was trough her life such a wonderful companion. As she passed away just a few days from turning 13 years old she left our family and pack with a huge feeling of empryness. She was a "big soul" and we will miss her forever. Vera was so highly loved and we will always be grateful towards Britt-Marie Sundquist for letting us have this very special lady!
