Today at the SKK international all breed KC show HUND 2008 at Älvsjö mässan, Stockholm, our spoiled little brat Nova won Best Bitch with the CACIB, placed BOS and also hereby Crufts qualified for 2009. Handled this day perfectly by Mrs Jenny Hall. Thank you Jenny for all the help and congrat's to your own BOB win! Mr Rainer Vourinen from Finland judged the PH's and Nova was the only Faouziah's.

Congratulations to the Nyström family who went to Latvia for some sightseeing and shopping for a few days and of course managed to squeeze in a dog show too! ;) Jenny only showed her Valle at the international all breed show in Riga where also a Guinea Pig and Cat show where held at the same time. Mr Espen Engh judged the PH's and rewarded Valle the BOB win with the CC and CACIB. Making Valle also a Latvian Show Champion and taking him one step closer to his IntCh title. Way to go Jenny!

This weekend Jenny Nyström took her two dogs to the international KC show in Seinäjoki in Finland. About 20 PH's where entered under breed specialist Mr Jarmo Vourinen and Jennys young Valle placed Best Male 3rd. Then her beautiful Champiz first won Best Bitch and then also took the BOB win! With this she got the CC for her FINCh title, which also made her up a NordCh. And she also gained her last CACIB for the IntCh title! Huge congratulations Jenny & Champiz!

Today we had a few dogs entered under Mr Stephen Wheeler at the Sighthound Club show in Skogås just outside Stockholm. Amongst the males Jenny Nyströms young Valle placed Best Male 2nd. And our own highly loved and super-spoiled Adam, who showed officially for the first time in a year and for the second time in his life, placed Best Male 4th with his first CC! This made us proud and happy. Amongst the bitches our almost even more spoiled Nova placed as Best Bitch 2nd and soon 9 year old and not so often shown Anka placed Best Bitch 4th, was Best Veteran over her litter brother Ragnar in the breed and later also BIS-5-Veteran in the finals.

The track at this last lure coursing trial of the year just outside Falköping was very fun and a bit different from most Swedish with areas of high grass for the dogs to either run trough, jump over or go around. Our dogs did great on the feild with our Adam ending as 1/2 with 73,5 points and his last and completeing LC CC for his championship title! As 2/2 came Cissi Hultgrens Ida with 71,5 points. Judges where Mr Robert Dirksen (Sweden) and Mr Herman Seinhorst (the Netherlands). As we spoke during the winners-photos it turned out Mr Seinhorst once owned two PH's, namely Ch Wadjet-Sakkara Of The Netherlands and one of her daughters. Sakkara is the dam to Ch Imerat-Paroo Of The Netherlands who is the sire to one of kennel Faouziah's foundation bitches - Ch Siphra's Tell Me No Lies!

This day the Dahl family took their Svea to a show a little closer to home, namely to an international KC show in Denmark. Here Svea won BOB and got yet another CACIB. She also gained the title DKKV-08! Breed judge where Mr Henrik Soeborg. Congratulations Tenna, Uffe and Svea!

Once again Uffe and Tenna Dahl took their Svea with them abroad. This time to the international all breed show in Luxembourg. And yes! Svea got the CC, CACIB, BOB win and with this also the new title of LUXCh. Svea then made the cut in the group. Breed judge where Mrs Christiane Broecker. Congratulations family! You are doing a great job with your princess!

Another lure coursing trial for newcomer in the field, Cissi Hultgrens Ida. This time at the international trial in Vallentuna just outside of Stockholm, where Ida placed as 4/5 with 75,5 points. Nice weather, nice relaxed atmosphere and two nice runs by 7 year old Ida. Keep up the good work Cissi and Ida!

At this lure coursing trial in Sjöbo 6 PH's and their owners had to endure an awful weather with rain and wind and even more of the very same. But the solidarity amongst the LC PH people truly is something extra, us all sticking out for each others no matter kennel prefix, winning statistics or score.
To our joy Adam ran really good in the field this day and got 75 points, the LC CC and placed 2/6. Lisa Barkeskogs 8-year-oldie Bengt had a really fun time and came in as 5/6. This was his very last trial and it was so much fun to get to see him one more time, in his youth Bengt was a magnificent lure courser. Thank you all for a good day, despite the weather. And congratulations Anna G to you win!

The Nyström family took their two Faouziah's to Norway for the Norweigan Special on Saturday and an international KC show in Oslo on Sunday and came back home with some stunning results!
At the breed special sweet Valle where picked as the BOB winner with the Norweigan CC and also won "Best Mover"! His beautiful halfsister Champiz won BOS! In the finals at this show the BOB winning PH competes against the BOB winners amongst the Cirnecco and the Ibizians for the BIS placement and here Valle ended BIS-2 to our great joy!
At the international KC show on Sunday Valle once again won BOB with yet another Norweigan CC and also this time the CACIB! And amongst the bitches Champiz once again won Best Bitch and then placed BOS, she too with the CACIB. What a weekend!! Congratulations and very well done Jenny!

We took two Faouziah's with us to Sundsvall up north of Sweden to compete at the international LC trial at Alnö. Newcomer in the field, Cissi Hultgrens Ida, did her first LC trial here and did really great. Ida won the breed as 1/2 with 72,5 pionts and her first LC CC! Adam came in 2/2 with 69 points. Very well done Ida and Cissi!

Young Gabrielle Hjort had our sweet Nova with her to compete at the Swedish Youth Championship. Here Gabrielle won Best In Show Senior Handler with Nova on the showlead! Congrats Gabrielle!!

Where: FCI European Lure Coursing Championship, Sweden
This weekend it was finaly time for the FCI European Lure Coursing Championship held in beautiful Husby Säteri outside Söderköping. Pharaoh Hounds where up on Saturday and both Adam and Luna had qualified for competition and where entered to the Swedish teams 8 PH. All to all 18 PH's competed and it was clear all ready after the first heat that the finnish dogs where outstanding. After the days all trials all the six placing places and the title went to Finland, divided amongst them to dogs from three different kennels. Huge congratulations! Our Adam placed as 10/18 with 477 points. And Luna as 13/18.
Thank you all for a great day! It was truly something special to be a part of!

Beautiful Weera was shown this day at the international KC show in Ylivieska in Finland. Mr Markku Kipinä judged the PH's and rewarded Heidi Ollilas Weera the BOS win. Congrat's Heidi!

Sundays show was the breed special "Stora Specialen", judged by Mr Göran Bodegård who had 46 enteries. This day our Nova placed Best Bitch 2nd and Gunnel Waldekrantz sparesly shown Knuffe placed Best Male 3rd. To our joy Cissi Hultgrens old sweet boy Ragnar won Best Veteran as usually ownerhandled. It was so nice to see them together enjoying their time in the showring!
In minior handling, Annas daugther, 6 year old Amanda got to borrow the Chinese Crested Fanny (thank you Eva!), which for her was the ultimate peak of the weekend!

This was such a fun weekend. We are happy for our hounds results and we are thrilled with all the fun we have had together with all the PH fanciers from around the world! We miss you all!

There are very few active persons in the SvFK and it is absolutely in it's place to give them all a huge amount of credit for all the incredible hard work they have done before and during this weekend to have both the congress on Friday and show on Sunday going! Guys, you have been truly amazing!

On Friday the SvFK held it's congress and it was a truly a very nice day, both educational and fun. Saturday then started with the Sighthoundclubs Special - the "Skokloster Summer Show" - now located in Västerås just outside of Stockholm. This year the PH's where finaly judged by much longed for Mr Bo Bengtsson who had 58 entries. To our true joy our little sweet Nova not only won her class but also ended up Best Bitch with her last and completing CC for both her SCh and NCh show titles! Nova finaly placed BOS!

Some really nice show news reached us from Finland today. Were at the KC show in Oulu, Heidi Ollilas own hometown, her own beauty Weera won BOB and then later placed Group 3rd in the finals. This was Weeras 33rd BOB win and 13th group placement all to all, always ownerhandled. Congratulations Heidi! We know you're really happy!

Well, it's over! ;) A few hysterical days at Älvsjö mässan and WDS that at least for us PH's people culminated on Sunday as this was the day our beloved breed was up for judging. Out of the about 60 PH's competing five where Faouziah's. And even though we didn't hit any high score we're pretty pleased anyway. To start with Bobbo stayed amongst the last six in a huge males champion class before the judge placed her four. In almost an equally as large bitches open class Nova placed as 2nd and her full sister Fiona right behind as 3rd. Nova also finaly won the R-CC. Bitches champion class was also a huge class and here Weera placed as 4th. In competition for Best Breeders group Faouziah's placed 3rd. We where also very pleased with that Bobbo's daughter (Sawhorse's Better Be Sweet) won the youth/intermediate class.
It is not so often you get to see this many beautiful PH's in one place and also get to meet with so many PH fanciers visiting from different countries. It's been a very nice show! Congrat's to all the winners and thank you all for a very nice day!

From Finland and "Farkku Show", the finnish special - this year being their 25 year anniversary - we have some great news! To our joy Lisa Barkeskog's Bobbo won Best In Show over the 58 entered PH's! Only 3 Faouziah's PH's were entered, the other two being Heidi Ollila's Weera who placed Best Bitch 2nd and also Britt-Marie Sundquist's young Fiona who placed Best Bitch 3rd. Bobbo also got rewarded the "Sympis" trophy, which is the judges prize to the most cuddly, cute or sweet dog at the show. It was truly a great day and it felt so nice to win a Speciality BIS in Finland!

At the Copenhagen Winners Show in Denmark Tenna Dahl had her young Svea entered under breed specialist Mr Jarmo Vuorinen from Finland. Svea won the champion bitches class and then placed Best Bitch 2nd with the R-CACIB, handled by Mr Hugo Quevedo. 10 PH's from Ireland, Russia, Finland and Sweden were entered.

Today our congratulations goes to young Svea for closing her Danish and Swedish Championship titles at the national all breed KC show in Varde in Denmark. From the international KC show in Helsinki in Finland more wonderful news reached us this day as Britt-Marie Sundquist's Fiona closed her championship title with her last and finninshing CC, together with a BOS and CACIB win! Mr Robert Dawson from the Philipines judged the PH's and sweet fab Fiona were handled by Mirja Tuominen to her FINCh title win this day. Huge congratulations to all!

Great news reached us from the sighthound club show in beautiful Bosjökloster to where Svea had travelled with her "dad" Uffe and handler Katrine Jeppesen. The 8 PH's competing where judged by Italian judge Mrs Maria Teresa Fassio Durando who picked sweet Svea as her BOB and CC winner! Congratulations to the whole Dahl family and thank you Katrine for handling Svea to this win!

This weekend beloved Adam competed at the lure coursing trial in Borlänge. After us all getting used to a wonderful spring with sun and warmth it was bit of a shock to find our selves in cold snow again. The competing dogs didn't seem to mind though, they'll hunt anything anyway! ;) Adam ended this trial as 3/4 with 62 points. Swedish judges again, Mrs Charlotte Andersson and Mrs Agneta Doverholt.

At the lure coursing trial in Flygstaden in Söderhamn this day our lovable Adam did lousy and ended up as 3/3 with a final score as low as 57,75 points. Hmmm, we've had many better days than this one! ;) Judges were Mrs Marie Jarl and Mr Bo Forsberg.

Another show weekend for Shadrach, this time at the international all breed double in beautiful Zadar on the Croatian seaside. Judged on Saturday by Mr Hans Van Den Berg from the Netherlands and on Sunday by Mrs Joyce Crawford-Manton from Irland. Both days super Shadrach won BOB and both days he placed Group 3rd. Congratulations and way to go!

Yippie! Lovely Luna was shown today at the international KC show in Hillerod in Denmark and won BOS. With this win she also got her last CACIB to complete her International Show Champion title! This show was also Crufts qualifying for 2009. Luna was as usual ownerhandled by "mom" Lotta. Congratulations Lotta, Peter and the rest of the whole family!

At this CAC show in Dakovo in Croatia Tom handled his Shadrach by himself for the first time and Shadrach won BOB and Group 1st with his "dad" on the lead. What a way to start a handling career! Congratulations Tom! Way to go!

This years first lure coursing trial was held this weekend in Larv, Skaraborg, and judged by Mrs Andersson and Mr Nordahl. PH's where up on Saturday and we had Adam and Luna running. The track was a bit different but fun and Adam ended the day as 2/4 with 72,5 points and Luna as 3/4 with 70,75 points. Thank you all for a nice day and thank you Lisa for all the driving and back-up.

This day we showed at the KC show in Västerås. Mr Torbjörn Skaar judged the 14 entered PH's and rewarded BOB to Bobbo! Young Valle placed Best Male 4th and Ragnar placed Best Male 5th from veteran class. Amongst the bitches young Nova placed Best Bitch 3rd, Champiz Best Bitch 4th and Ida Best Bitch 5th. Ragnar was also Best Veteran in the breed and our breeders group won Best Group. Later in the finals Bobbo then got a very nice Group 3rd win (group judge was Mrs Elina Tal-Hietalahti) and our breeders group placed BIS-4-Breeders Group (judge Mr Peter Harsanyi). The most awsome win this day though, was Ragnars BIS-1-Veteran win (judged by Mrs Jackie Perry). First time out in the rings in a very long time and first time in veteran class... Way to go Cissi! You did great!

The Sundberg family went on a little trip to Denmark to show Luna at a "Mynde Klub" club show. Here Mr Henrik Soborg choose sweet Luna for his CC and BOB winner, with this win Luna where made up also Danish and Nordic Champion! In the finals Luna then placed BIS-3! Congratulations family!

There seems to be no ending to the success of Tom's Shadrach! This weekend they attended two international shows in Zagreb where Shadrach won BOB, the CC and CACIB both days. Ending Saturdays finals with a Group 2nd under judge Mr Janusz Opara from Poland and Sundays finals with a Group 1st under judge Mr Thana Achariyawan from Thailand. Saturday evening were spent at the international Champion of Champions show and dinner and here Shadrach went as far as to Runner Up as always handled by Mr Ante Lucin! Congratulations team!

Wow!!! Really great news reached us from the Winter Winner Show in Celje in Slovenia where Tom's not yet 2 year old Shadrach won a KC BIS-1!!! Two shows where held this day, one club show (FCI Group 5) where Shadrach won BOB, CC, the Club Champion title and was BIS-3! And then at the KC show... BOB, CC, Group 1st and Best In Show!!! Breed and group judge where Mr Pierluigi Buratti, Italy and BIS judge Mrs Monique Van Brempt from Belgium. As usual sweet Shadrach were handled by Mr Ante Lucin. Congratulations! Way to go! We are so very very proud!

Sweet Svea were shown this day at the Danish KC international show in Odense in Denmark, under judge Mr Januz Oparah. Here little Svea placed Best Bitch 2nd with the R-CACIB.
During the weekend our young Nova went to that very same show together with Gabrielle Hjort as she had her to compete with in Junior Handling. Nova were not entered in the breed ring but got to show off in the big ring as Gabrielle placed BIS-3-JH on Saturday and BIS-4-JH on Sunday. Congrats Gabrielle and thanks for taking such good care of our sweet princess!

Yes!!! This weekend young Shadrach closed yet another championtitle as he won the last and qualifying CACIB and CC to become Italian Champion (for that as many as 6 wins are needed to finnish)! He also won BOB and got placed Group 3rd at this international show in Padova in Italy as usual handled by Mr Ante Lucin. Congratulations Tom, Ante and Shadrach! We are very proud and happy for you!

This weekend the "Winter Dog Show" where held in Åbo in Finland. With some 29 PH's entered under breed specialist Mr André Van Den Broek from the Netherlands. Jenny and her family went with her dogs and Valle placed Best Male 2nd with the R-CACIB. We heard you had a really fun trip, Jenny!

This weekend Shadrach were shown in Firenze in Italy on Saturday and here won BOB, CC and CACIB. On Sunday he where shown in Arezzo also in Italy, were he once again won BOB, CC and the CACIB. As usual Shadrach where handled by Mr Ante Lucin. Congrats Shadrach, Tom and Ante!

First weekend showing for young Shadrach at the international shows in Ljubljana in Slovenia. First day Shadrach placed Best Male 2nd with the R-CC and R-CACIB. And at the show on Sunday he won BOB with the CC and CACIB under judge Mrs Ruth Wagner from GB and also later placed Group 3 in the finals. Congratulations Tom, Ante and sweet Shadrach!

First day for the PH's at the MyDog circuit in Göteborg where held by the sighthoundclub on the 3rd. Here Lottas Luna placed BOS. Two days later at the national KC show on the 5th Luna then placed as Best Bitch 2nd. Luna where the only Faouziah's entered. Congratulations Lotta and Peter!
