Welcome!
We're so happy to introduce this little sunbeam into our family, the Podengo Portugese liso/pequeno - Stoneweiler's PP Lamborghini. She is bred by Liv Steinhaug in Norway and out of English bloodlines (Plushcourt Gherkin x Plushcourt Delicia). Thank you Liv for trusting us with this pearl! She must be the absolute sweetest little puppy ever and OMG how we adore her!

Rally Obediance
We were a pretty large bunch of PH people having an equally as large bunch of PH entered at the Rally Obediance trial at Apollogruppen this Wednessday. Out of different reasons only two came to start and that was Emelie Andersson and her Siphra's male and our own Jenny Nyström and her Valle. Now Jenny and Valle had hardly trained at all and I don't think Jenny is that very pleased with the outcome of Valles preformance. Still, we are very proud of you Jenny and Valle!!!
At this trial my dear friend Linn Hansson also had two of her pugs entered and they both got approved in Nybörjarklass (novise) with 76 respective 85 points. Congratulations Linn!! :)

Coursing training
Just got a phone call from Cissi Hultgren who had been to the sandpit coursing training to let her young Siri run for the first time. According to Cissi Siri went all silly and thought it was sooooo much fun. She didn't want to let go of the lure and since this is just practise and also Siris first one the pilot let her drag that plastic lure all around. Cissis oldie in the game Ida had a go at it too, but instead of Siris 3 runs Ida was very satisfied with only 1 less intense one.
Way to go Cissi! I know you wished for a keen lure courser and it sounds as you've got one!

Handling Class
Tonight we had the last session of our eight weeks handling class with Gerard O'Shea. Even though I have been to tons of Gerards classes I learn something new every time I bring a new dog to him. These weeks were for my Alice and she has really exceeded my expectations. Hopefully now she wont chase the dog infront of her like a maniac next time she enters the ring! ;) The thing that makes me think Gerard is simply the best is foremost his opinion that the dog really should enjoy showing and that the preassure is on you and never on the dog. These classes has been so much fun and I'll miss them. Thank you all participants for making this group so special and good luck in the rings!

The finale of Champion of Champions and Veteran of Veterans
So this was the very final Champion of Champions and Veteran of Veterans gala at reknown Grand Hotel in Stockholm. A rather bitter sweet feeling to be there for the last time. This year Juno was qualified once again, but now as a veteran. She's been there earlier years and well.., did much better then. ;) Still she got to show of as the beautiful oldie she is and we are really proud and happy over her. This evening was filled with friends and fun... And yes, it got a bit too late with a little bit of too much champagne. But it was worth it! Thank you all for a great evening!
And congratulations to Ingela and Per Wallström and their lovely OES Cruella to the CoC win.

Happy Easter!
It has been a long and cold winter so to now finaly see the first spring flowers sprout feels fantastic! Evenings are brighter and walking the dogs feels lighter! This Easter weekend will be great!
We wish you all a very nice weekend!
A special Easter Egg full of Thank You's goes to our wonderful vet Annica Engström and her assistent Emelie Eriksson at Sundbybergs Veterinärpraktik who operated on my oldie Vera yesterday. Vera had broken a tooth and had got an infection due to this. My poor girl was in pain but got expert help! Thank you! You're the best!

Home from Crufts
Just got home from Crufts, could not stay for the finals unfortunately which I belive will be extremely exciting today since top star of our breed - Qing of course :) - won the Hound Group for the second year in a row this Friday! However I travelled with my collueges at work as our boss invited us to this trip. We had a few great days, staying at the Holiday Inn in Solihull just outside of Birmingham. It was a perfect place to stay, a great hotel with super shopping just across the street and lots of resturants and pubs and to top that just like 10 minutes by car to NEC and Crufts! So of course besides Crufts we went shopping a lot and ate and drank fantastic all the time. The nearby shopping center also included a Disney Store to where a lot of my money went.., yes it's true my daughter IS completely spoiled ;)
Crufts was as usual a thrill. All that shopping and all those things! I didn't find what I was looking for though which was a specific small PH statue to my collection that I was hopeing to finaly get my hands on. However I bought a bunch of Nylabones for my dogs that they love and that can't be found in Sweden. There were rather many PH's entered and also one Faouziah's which was Jenny Hall and Jocke Gustavssons young Qiwi as they had him and their superstar qualified. And I am very happy that Qiwi won his class. Can not remember when I was that nervous latest since I really really wanted him to take the class. I was acctually sitting outside the ring shaking as Qiwi and Jenny played around on that green carpet. That little boy really loves to show and when the judge went over him he just couldn't resist and had to give her a wet Qiwi-kiss wiggling his whole body at the same time! He is just sooooo cute! And I am glad Jenny lets him enjoy showing and can be bold enough not to put any presure on the young dog, even being at Crufts. He is still a baby and has no clue what so ever of the prestige, he just thinks it is all a fun game. And that is just the way it should be.
Now I am back home. Survived yet another flight (I truly HATE flying) and can now cuddle my dogs and hug my family that I missed so. It is almost torture to see all those PH's and know I don't have my own beloved beautiful ones in arms reach. I really do love them so! And my family too of course ;)
It was a great trip and I have laughed so so much and had so much fun! Thank you Per, Tina, Janne, Marie, Lisa and Linn for the company and all the fun. And thank you Per and Tina for everything!

Top Winning PH Breeder 2009
Just the other day I got the word that kennel Faouziah's is the #1 PH Breeder of 2009, breed club system. This made us indcredible proud and very happy. We have some of the most fantastic puppy buyers who love, cherish and care for their dogs in the very best of ways. To plus that rather many of them are also active in the show rings which is one of the reasons to this success. Included amongst the top ten bitches and males are the following Faouziah's: #2 Champiz, #4 Nova, #5 Juno, #7 Qiwi, #8 Valle, #9 Luna. On the lc list Ida placed #6. These results also led to that one of our foundation bitches, Vera, was yet another year #1 Brood Bitch.
So this is for all of you puppy buyers... Thank you guys! We hope to keep seeing you in the rings and on the fields and we will keep on supporting you in the best way we can. Now give your dog a warm hugg and yourself a treat, you're the greatest!
