For years Annas daughter Amanda nagged about a dog of her own, the IG being the dream breed. Then at one show during the summer of 2009 we got to take a closer look at the Podengo Portugese as they were up before the PH's in the ring. And well, even though we had seen them before this was the first time we really looked. After that our mind was set! A Podengo Pequeno it must be!

So it was with pure joy we got to go get our little Podengo Portugese girl from Norway in July 2010. Amanda thought long and well over the important name-issue and decided to give her dog a name that showed the true value she felt over her own dog. Hence she decided to name her after the most admired gemstone of them all - Diamant (Swedish for Diamond). But when we went to see our puppy in real life for the first time, she was just so petite she also got the extra "Pytteliten" to her name, which means something like "very tiny".

It didn't take us more than a second to completely adore this happy and free spirited little jewel but it's truly Amandas very own dog and we hope they'll have lots of fun together. A day after we got Pytte home Amanda told us she believed she couldn't get any happier than this! :)
